Been busy this first week back, painting.
The first one below is from the view I get after I've been to the bank walking down the alley way next to the Derwent line in Belper one day it was pouring down with rain but the sun was bursting through and shining down on the train line turning something rather everyday quite beautiful.

The second painting was inspired by a trip to Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath accompanying my sons on a high roller coaster and looking across at High Tor breath taking and a little difficult to photograph!

The final painting below is from a view I saw from a recent commission meeting I had before Christmas in Milford I loved the way the light fell on the old factory buildings, the thing about this view is the whole thing is going to be a housing estate soon the Mill will stay but the factory will become three story homes.
